Footwork is a big part of fielding especially in the infield. Iv'e spent a lot of time these past few weeks focusing on my footwork and how to take better angles. The angle you take to the ball can make or break the play you're trying to execute. Ive been working on taking deeper angles so I can't get to more ground balls in the holes. There's many drills that can help you with footwork and taking the right angles to certain balls. This has helped me a lot in our scrimmages and I hope it will translate to our first games.
