To prepare for our fall games we play games against each other to get warmed up and ready for another opponent. I was feeling excited to compete against my teammates and see how I could perform off of our pitching. I had some quality at-bats but only got 1 base hit, but overall, I felt good at the plate. On defense, many balls came to me and I had some great plays to help my team win. I think the intrasquad was good for everyone to see where they're at and what they need to focus on moving forward.
The mental aspect of sports is as crucial as the physical. Practice is the arena where athletes confront challenges, face setbacks, and learn to overcome adversity. It's a testing ground for mental toughness, resilience, and the ability to stay focused under pressure. The confidence gained through overcoming obstacles in practice translates directly to a player's mental fortitude during competitions. https://universitysports.com/n/balancing-sports-academics-and-your-personal-life
